About Us
My name is Abigail and I am a senior at Westerly High School. As a graduation requirement at the high school, each senior is required to complete a senior project. Being born with a rare disease, Congenital Hyperinsulinsim, I decided to devote my senior project to fundraising and awareness of rare diseases.

Congenital Hyperinsulinism International (CHI) is a international organization for families and allies of Congenital Hyperinsulinism. CHI is a charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, adults, and families living with congenital hyperinsulism. Being a part of this organization since it's humble beginnings, I speak very highly of this organization and the people involved. Here is the link to their website:
National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) is a patient advocacy organization who are "committed to the identification, treatment, and cure of rare disorders through programs of education, advocacy, research, and patient services." Having been in contact with many people at NORD I can attest to the organization's usefulness in aiding me in many aspects of this project including puting me in contact with different patient organizations and providing me with tons of information for both my event and my research paper.
